What are the Next STeps? How does it work?

When you sign up for any of the BridalLive Ditch the Desktop or QuickBooks Online Conversion services, you will receive a detailed email with next steps. We make this as straightforward and painless for you as possible. You add us to your QuickBooks Online account (or purchase an account through our site), upload your QuickBooks Desktop file to our secure portal, provide your BridalLive and QuickBooks Desktop credentials, and that is pretty much it. We will reach out to you if we have any questions.

What is bridallive account mapping

The new BridalLive-QuickBooks Online integration will allow you to map your BridalLive Departments to your QuickBooks Chart of Accounts. This way, your BridalLive sales breakdown will be automatically broken down in your QuickBooks reports as well. 

Can I do the Quickbooks Conversion Myself?

Yes. However, there is no guarantee that your data will be converted completely or accurately. As QuickBooks Pro-Advisors experienced in Desktop-to-Online conversions, we have a specific process that we go through to ensure that all of your data gets thoroughly converted. We troubleshoot any errors and we know what to do when a conversion goes sideways. We provide you with a custom conversion report at the end that tells you the steps we walked through, as well as the differences to be aware of after your conversion. We look at your QuickBooks desktop file and flag any data types that may have changed so that we can make appropriate corrections that don’t happen in the automatic conversion and/or alert you to the differences in QuickBooks Online vs. Desktop.

What is Chart of Account Re-Design and why do I need it?

Most bridal stores are not getting their questions answers from QuickBooks reports.  Your chart of accounts powers all of your QuickBooks Reports, which have the ability to help you make better decisions to boost the profitability of your store. We have designed a standard chart of accounts for bridal stores specifically designed to help you make better decision to drive profitability and growth. We customize each chart of account as we install, based on assessment of your current financials, and conversations with you and how your store operates, so that you can get the most out of your QuickBooks Reporting. 

If I engage in an ongoing accounting plan, does it include some of the a la carte services above?

Yes!!! When you sign up with us for ongoing accounting, we will most often get many of your systems set up for you. The rates above can most often be avoided by committing to an annual accounting engagement. Other services outside of the scope of basic bookkeeping are available at a discounted hourly rate.
